Electrical Supervisor (Qualified)

Join our Electrical Team at L&Q. This unique opportunity allows you to step into a high-impact compliance supervisory role where you will shape how electrical safety and quality are delivered across our in‑house workforce.

Safe, compliant homes are central to our service delivery. You will be critical to maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting audits, improving workmanship standards, and reducing risk across all electrical activities carried out by our in‑house teams.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the organisation’s Qualified Supervisor (NICEIC).
  • Oversee electrical compliance across all Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) activities.
  • Conduct inspections, audits and quality assurance checks.
  • Ensure adherence to BS 7671, statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Manage electrical certification and compliance records.
  • Support and mentor electricians and supervisors to improve standards.
  • Identify trends, risks, CPD and areas for improvement in service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Essential:
    • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation including AM2 (or equivalent).
    • 18th Edition (BS 7671) Wiring Regulations.
    • Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 / 2394 & 2395 or equivalent).
    • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, QS (NICEIC or equivalent) and compliance experience.
    • Full UK driving licence.
  • Desirable:
    • Strong knowledge of electrical certification, inspection and testing and regulatory compliance.
    • Experience working within social housing, maintenance or DLO environment.
    • Experience of NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR).
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to challenge non‑compliance.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
