An experienced Project Supervisor is required to oversee works within a live, critical data centre environment in Slough. You'll supervise a data centre migration programme alongside CCTV replacement works, coordinating contractors and engineers while maintaining safe, compliant delivery.
This hands-on, client-facing role requires strong site supervision and coordination to ensure project activities are completed with minimal disruption to critical operations.
The RoleAs the Project Supervisor, you'll:
- Supervise daily project activities within a live data centre environment.
- Oversee data centre migration activities in line with approved procedures.
- Supervise CCTV replacement, installation and commissioning works.
- Coordinate subcontractors, engineers and specialist contractors on site.
- Manage access, permits, RAMS, isolations and planned works with stakeholders.
- Monitor programme progress and elevate delays, risks or technical issues.
- Complete site inspections to monitor safety, quality and compliance.
- Liaise with data centre operations teams to minimise disruption to critical infrastructure.
- Support testing, commissioning, documentation and project handover activities.
To be successful as the Project Supervisor, you'll have:
- Project or site supervision experience within data centres or critical environments.
- Experience with migration, infrastructure replacement or technology upgrade projects.
- Experience supervising CCTV installation, replacement or security system works.
- Strong understanding of working within live operational data centre environments.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, engineers and specialist contractors.
- Good knowledge of RAMS, permits to work and site health and safety.
- Ability to interpret project drawings, programmes and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- £325 £ 350 per day.
- Four-month contract.
- Monday-to-Friday working pattern.
- Based in Slough.
- Major data centre migration and CCTV replacement programme.
- Critical infrastructure and data centre project experience.
- Client-facing responsibility for site delivery and contractor coordination.
