- Customer Engagement:
Prepare, review, and submit accurate customer quotations and proposals. Ensure timely communication with all relevant stakeholders. - Order Management:
Administer customer order reports, issue pre-acquisition questionnaires, and provide vital product information to customers. - Compliance:
Maintain global compliance standards for UK customers and escalations if sales outside UK. - Smooth Operations:
Proactively communicate with customers regarding order inquiries and logistical support, ensuring a seamless customer experience. - Data Integrity:
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity. - Performance Metrics:
Adhere to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Support Sales Teams:
Collaborate with regional sales teams to identify and follow up on low‑value quotations. - Customer Complaints:
Assist in managing customer complaints and ensure clear and accurate communication throughout the process.
- Participate in sales meetings and provide relevant information or feedback.
- Take on ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
- Educated to GCSE or A-level standard, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or related administrative roles.
- Proficiency in ERP, CRM, or other business systems to manage transactions and customer data.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Good problem‑solving skills, with the ability to know when to escalat[e] issues.
- Active listening skills and a friendly telephone manner.
- Team player with a growth mindset and time management abilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA ERP system is preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
