Job Description:

Deliver engaging, play-based and structured lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
Create a stimulating classroom environment that supports early literacy, numeracy, and social development
Use continuous assessment to track progress and tailor learning to individual needs
Support phonics development through systematic programmes such as Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds
Work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to ensure every child thrives
Contribute to whole-school events, assemblies, and enrichment activities

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1 (desirable but not essential)
Be passionate about early childhood education and child development
Demonstrate strong classroom management and differentiation strategies
Be committed to raising standards and nurturing a love of learning
Embrace a growth mindset and value ongoing CPD
Be confident using interactive learning tools and technology in the classroom
