SEN Learning Support Assistant - Slough - January Start

Are you passionate about demonstrating the value of education to vulnerable children? A thriving school in Slough is looking for a SEN Learning Support Assistant who has a genuine passion for making a difference to children's lives.

The ideal candidate for the role of SEN Learning Support Assistant must be able to communicate effectively with young people, be confident, committed, and calm. A desire to work with children with additional needs and to be part of a supportive team is essential.

• Supporting children with special educational needs and helping them access learning
• Supporting pupils' behaviour for learning in the classroom
• Helping children understand and follow the teacher's instructions
• Working 1:1 with pupils or supporting small groups within the SEN department
• Keeping track of and recording pupil progress

This SEN Learning Support Assistant role will give you valuable experience and training while working with children who require additional support and care to progress.
