The ideal candidate will be a confident, compassionate, and proactive graduate who can engage positively with students and support them in their learning and personal development. You’ll be working closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to provide tailored support to pupils.

Key responsibilities for the Graduate Learning Support Assistant include:

* Supporting positive behaviour and learning in the classroom

* Helping pupils understand and follow the teacher’s instructions

* Working 1:1 with students or in small groups, either in the classroom or within the Learning Support department

* Monitoring and recording pupils’ progress and development

This role offers invaluable training and experience for graduates considering teacher training, educational psychology or other careers involving young people.
