Year 6 Teacher – Slough – Part Time January 2026

Role & Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a vibrant Year 6 class, preparing them for their transition to secondary school. This will involve:

* Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students

* Assessing and monitoring student progress

* Supporting students’ emotional and social development

* Working closely with other teachers and support staff

* Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities

Candidate Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching Year 6 or a passion for working with this age group

* Excellent communication and organizational skills

* A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment

* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
