About the Role:
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Behaviour Mentor to join our supportive team at a thriving school in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in pastoral care, behaviour support, or youth work who is looking to have a meaningful impact in an educational setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with students to manage and improve behaviour, both inside and outside the classroom.
Support teaching staff in creating a calm, positive learning environment.
Build strong, trusting relationships with students, acting as a positive role model.
Develop and implement behaviour support plans tailored to individual needs.
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young people in a school, youth work, or similar setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
A commitment to promoting positive behaviour and inclusion.
An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
