1:1 SEN Support Assistant – Slough

Join a supportive and welcoming school community in Slough as a 1:1 SEN Support Assistant this September.

• Personalised Support:
  Provide targeted, one-to-one assistance tailored to the student’s specific learning needs—whether academic, social, or emotional.
• Learning Facilitation:
  Help deliver engaging and accessible lessons, adapting materials and activities to suit the student’s learning style and pace.
• Progress Monitoring:
  Track and record the student’s development, regularly sharing updates with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure consistent progress.
• Emotional and Social Guidance:
  Create a supportive and nurturing environment, helping the student build confidence, independence, and social skills.

  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, and parents to implement effective learning and support strategies.

• Empathy & Patience: A calm, compassionate approach to supporting students with additional needs, especially during challenging moments.
• Adaptability:
  An understanding that no two students are the same, with the ability to adjust your approach to suit individual needs.
• Strong Communication:
  Clear, respectful communication with students, staff, and parents to ensure everyone is aligned on goals and progress.

• Full Time:
  Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
