This well established, learner-focused education provider has a strong reputation for delivering apprenticeship and technical training programmes. The electrical department is organised and supportive, providing existing teaching resources, structured schemes of work, and a stable environment for contractors to focus on delivering quality training and supporting apprentice success.
This contract role is designed to cover the delivery of electrical programmes to apprentices, combining classroom teaching, assessment, and progress monitoring. You will work closely with curriculum and employer teams to ensure learners achieve their qualifications and are prepared for End Point Assessment.
The Role
Deliver structured electrical training aligned to apprenticeship standards
Plan and deliver engaging classroom-based lessons using existing schemes of work
Assess learner work and provide clear, constructive feedback
Prepare apprentices for gateway and End Point Assessment
Conduct learner progress reviews and support achievement
Maintain accurate learner records and off-the-job training evidence
Liaise with employers, curriculum teams, and EPA organisations
Support learners with additional needs alongside support teams
The Person
Electrical qualification at Level 2 or above (NVQ Level 2 candidates considered)
Teaching qualification such as AET, CET, or willingness to work towards one
Experience delivering electrical training or supporting apprentices
Good understanding of apprenticeship standards and End Point Assessment processes
Confident communicator with strong classroom management skills
