- Support with referrals and liaison with external bodies
- Promote a culture of vigilance, care, and student voice
- Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are effectively understood and implemented
This is a highly valued role within the school, and you will be a key point of support, advice, and expertise for staff.
About You
We are seeking someone who brings:
- Extensive safeguarding experience, ideally in education
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and local/national guidance
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in working with vulnerable students and external agencies
- High attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills
- The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Absolute professionalism and commitment to confidentiality
- Designated Safeguarding Lead training (essential)
If you are motivated, child-centred, resilient, and committed to ensuring every young person is kept safe, this role is perfect for you.
What We Offer
You will join a nurturing and supportive school community with access to a range of staff benefits, including:
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Medical Cash Plan
