About the Role
You will deliver engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons, with the opportunity to contribute more widely to the Social Sciences curriculum. The setting is described as lively, friendly, and academically ambitious, with a strong culture of support and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Psychology across appropriate Key Stages (KS4-KS5 depending on experience).
- Deliver high-quality, well-planned lessons that motivate and challenge learners.
- Support departmental development, enrichment and wider curriculum initiatives.
- Contribute to pastoral support and the broader school community.
- Engage in continued professional development and reflective practice.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- QTS/PGCE and ability to teach Psychology confidently.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A passion for developing analytical thinking, curiosity and academic progress.
- Desirable: Experience in Health & Social Care (TLR available for exceptional candidate).
