Position: Technical Skills Coach / Trainer - Electrical

Overview

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach / Trainer to join the Electrical Apprenticeship team at our Slough & Langley College campuses on a full time, permanent basis. The role pays between Scale L34 £ 40,596.00 and L37 £ 43,665.00 depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor a dynamic caseload of apprentices within the Electrical Apprenticeship Programme.
  • Provide essential skills coaching and mentoring in a classroom / college based setting to help apprentices excel in their end point assessments.
  • Support apprentice development and engage with employers as part of the role.
Qualifications
  • Experience of teaching in a classroom environment is essential.
  • A teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards a recognised teaching qualification within a reasonable time frame is required.
  • One of the following level 3 electrical installation qualifications:
    City & Guilds 8202, 2365, 2330 or 2360.
  • 18th Edition & AM2 / AM2S alongside an A1 / CAVA certificate.
  • Candidates should state these qualifications in their personal statement; applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered.
