Teaching Assistant – Mental Health – Slough

Are you passionate about supporting the mental health of young people? A specialist school in Slough for children with significant special educational needs is seeking a Teaching Assistant – Mental Health to work with children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 facing trauma, mental health and behavioural challenges as well as complex learning needs.
This full‑time role is suitable for recent graduates in psychology, counselling, criminology or related fields; relevant experience will also be considered. The school is located in Slough with good transport links.
As a Teaching Assistant – Mental Health you will work alongside therapists and psychologists, gaining hands‑on experience with children who have significant emotional and developmental needs. You will support their mental health, personal growth and well‑being in a dynamic setting and will also gain experience with SEN, including autism and ADHD.
