Learning Support Assistant 1:1
Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant 1:1 to join our BCA team on a permanent, term‑time only basis.
Salary: G17 £ 21,166.19 – G19 £ 22,662.10, dependent on skills and experience (G17 £ 25,483.00 to G19 £ 27,284.00).
Hours:
37 hours per week (Monday – Friday) for 37 term‑time weeks per year.
- Enable students to access the curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential.
- Work under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and lecturers to assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
- Work 1:1 with learners with specific needs; assist with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
- Collaborate closely with pastoral and welfare staff to support students in overcoming learning, physical or emotional boundaries.
