A highly regarded school in Slough is looking for a Pastoral Youth Worker to join their team of staff in September.

Your role as a Pastoral Youth Worker is to primarily be there to support the children during their school day. Many of the children that attend this school have been identified as struggling with social, emotional and mental health issues. You will help them find better ways to cope with their emotions while navigating their school work.

To be successful you will need to be compassionate, keen to make a difference and positive. These children need a resilient and positive person to uplift them every day and help facilitate a learning environment in which they feel comfortable and supported.

We welcome candidates who are eager to learn and get involved, including those establishing a career in psychology or education, or those looking for a career change.

You will receive hands-on experience and learn key points and skills needed to support students with mental health needs.
