Salary: £34,398 - £52,490 (inclusive of Fringe Allowance and SEN Allowance
2)

Additional: TLR2 available for the right candidate (dependent on experience)

Brightstone Education Partners is recruiting for a SEN Teacher on behalf of a highly regarded specialist school in the Reading area.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher to work within a supportive specialist environment, helping children and young people with additional needs achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The Role
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Support pupils with a range of SEND requirements
  • Create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and target setting
  • Promote pupil confidence, independence, and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has a passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Can build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and behaviour management
  • Has a nurturing and resilient approach
  • Is committed to inclusive education and improving outcomes for young people

Experience with in SEND settings would be advantageous, although teachers from mainstream backgrounds with a genuine interest in specialist education are encouraged to apply.
