Salary: £23,929 - £25,450 per annum •
Contract: Full Time Term Time Only (37 hours per week) •
Start Date: September 2026

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital part in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during teacher absence and ensuring a positive and productive classroom environment.

Responsibilities- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
- Ensure students remain on task and follow the lesson plan provided
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support students with their learning where appropriate
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Report back on student progress and behaviour to teaching staff
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence managing groups of students
- A calm, professional, and proactive approach
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
- A genuine interest in education
- Dedicated consultant support throughout your application

- Ongoing support once placed in role
