The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 teaching available for suitable candidates.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel challenged, supported and motivated to succeed.
Monitor student progress and adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department.

About You

The successful English Teacher will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is advantageous but not essential).
A genuine passion for English and the ability to inspire a love of reading, writing and literature.
Excellent classroom management and strong organisational skills.
High expectations for student achievement, behaviour and personal development.
A positive, proactive approach and a desire to be part of a supportive team.
