We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to join our team at Upton Grange School in Slough. In this role, you will take a creative and learner‑centred approach to teaching, adapting your practice to meet the diverse educational needs of our pupils. You will deliver the school curriculum in a way that maximises each pupil’s engagement, achievement and personal development.

• Deliver creative, personalised teaching that supports pupils with varied and complex needs
• Adapt the curriculum to meet individual learning profiles and maximise achievement

• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, supporting their academic, social and emotional development

• Passion and experience working with pupils in SEN/ASC settings

• A willingness to visit the school during the interview process to meet the team, tour the site and meet our pupils

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or
• Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
• A nationally recognised degree

Upton Grange School is an early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 setting for pupils aged 3‑11 years. The school employs a range of teaching strategies to engage and develop learners who present with diverse learning difficulties and styles. Pupils work in smaller class sizes and pursue an equal semi‑formal curriculum and national curriculum expectations where appropriate.

The school’s location in Slough is a 15‑minute walk from the rail station and within commuting distance of Maidenhead, Twickenham, and surrounding areas.
