inspiring Year 6 pupils, preparing them for their transition to
secondary school with engaging lessons across the curriculum,
especially in English, Maths, and Science. Developing students’
critical thinking, problem-solving, and independence to help them
become confident, capable learners. Using assessment to inform your
teaching, ensuring that each child makes the most of their final
year in primary school and is prepared for the challenges ahead.
Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where
every child feels valued and motivated to reach their full
potential. Supporting pupils with their transition to secondary
school, addressing both academic and emotional needs as they
prepare for the next stage of their education. Working closely with
colleagues, parents, and leadership to provide the best learning
experience and ensure every child is supported in their individual
journey. What We’re Looking For A qualified teacher with QTS (or
equivalent), with experience in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and the skills needed to
guide students towards their next educational stage. A passion for
preparing children for the next stage of their learning, instilling
confidence and resilience in your students. The ability to create
engaging, challenging, and inspiring lessons that foster a love for
learning. A collaborative team player who is committed to working
