Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in English to join our Slough & Langley College team on a permanent, part‑time basis (0.5 FTE). The salary for this role ranges from T1 £ 15,816.50 to T11 £ 22,670.50 (T1 £ 31,633 to T11 £ 45,341 FTE), depending on qualifications and experience.

Shortlisting will take place during the week commencing 17th August 2026. The successful candidate’s start date will be confirmed following the recruitment process. The new academic year commences on Wednesday 19th August 2026.

As a Lecturer in English, you will be supporting post‑16 learners to develop their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, enabling successful achievement of GCSE or Functional Skills qualifications. You will work in partnership with Learning Support Assistants, creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs. Using diagnostic data, you will identify gaps in learning, set and monitor individual targets, and deliver focused interventions to support progress.

Your collaborative approach will help improve attendance, retention and achievement, enabling all learners to reach their full potential.
