GSL Education is looking for a dedicated Pastoral Manager to join a supportive secondary school from September 2026. This is a permanent position, offering a competitive salary depending on experience.

The successful Pastoral Manager will lead on student wellbeing, behaviour, attendance, punctuality, and safeguarding, working closely with Heads of Year, senior leaders, parents, and external agencies. You will coordinate pastoral interventions, support students to overcome barriers to learning, monitor student progress, and help create a safe, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

To be considered for this Pastoral Manager role, you must:

• Hold a degree or diploma in Counselling, Social Care, Careers, or a related field
• Have experience working with young people in a secondary school setting
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding, attendance, behaviour, and pastoral support
