Classroom Teaching Assistant - Slough | September Start

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:00pm

Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning? We are currently recruiting for a confident and enthusiastic Classroom Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Slough for a September start
.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom, supporting pupils with their academic and personal development. Previous experience working with children, particularly those with additional or special educational needs (SEND), is highly desirable.

The Role

As a Classroom Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support primary-aged pupils with their learning and development.
  • Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide additional support to pupils with SEND where required.
  • Monitor pupils' progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.
  • Promote positive behaviour and encourage student participation.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Availability to work full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4:00pm).
  • Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND (desirable but not essential).
  • A genuine passion for helping children learn and achieve their potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to commute to or work within the Slough area.

Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
