EHCP Teaching Assistant - Slough

Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with additional needs?

A specialist SEN school in Slough is seeking a dedicated and caring EHCP Teaching Assistant to join their team.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support tailored to students' individual EHCP targets and needs.
  Help students develop confidence, independence, communication, and active participation in learning.
  Support students with their academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to ensure students receive appropriate support in line with their EHCPs.
  Observe and monitor students' progress, wellbeing, behaviour, and engagement throughout the school day.

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people with additional needs.
  A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working within SEN.
  Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, education, or therapy.
  Able to build strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  Proactive, resilient, and committed to helping students achieve their individual goals.
