As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with an individual pupil (or occasionally a small group), providing personalised support to help them overcome academic, social, or emotional barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Tailored Support:
Provide one-to-one assistance based on the student's individual learning needs - whether academic, emotional, or behavioural. - Facilitate Learning:
Support lessons by adapting activities and materials, ensuring the pupil remains engaged and able to access the curriculum. - Track Progress:
Monitor and record the pupil's academic and personal development, sharing insights with the class teacher and SENCO. - Promote Wellbeing:
Create a nurturing and supportive environment that helps build confidence, independence, and social skills. - Collaborate:
Work closely with teachers, the SEN team, and parents to implement effective learning strategies and interventions.

You can remain calm, positive, and supportive-especially in challenging situations. - Adaptability:
You're able to adjust your approach to suit the child's individual learning style and pace. - Strong Communication:

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
