SEN Intervention Teaching Assistant

In this vital role, you'll work closely with a specific student or a small group of students, delivering tailored interventions that help them overcome academic, emotional, or behavioural challenges and reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities of an SEN Intervention Teaching Assistant:- Targeted Intervention:
Deliver one-to-one or small group support tailored to the students' specific needs-whether they are related to learning, social development, or behaviour. - Lesson Adaptation:
Assist in planning and delivering lessons or activities that are accessible, engaging, and adapted to each student's individual learning style and pace. - Monitoring & Feedback:
Track students' progress and regularly share observations with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure effective support is in place. - Emotional Support:
Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages emotional resilience, confidence, and independence. - Collaborative Support:
Work as part of a wider team-including teaching staff, SENCO, and parents-to implement consistent strategies that promote development and inclusion. - Competitive Daily Rate: £90-£95 per day

Slough - Schedule:
Full time - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
- Empathy & Patience: A calm and understanding approach to supporting children with additional needs, particularly during moments of difficulty.
- Adaptability: A flexible mindset that recognises and responds to the unique challenges and strengths of each child.
- Clear Communicator:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy
