Envision Education is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for schools across Slough
, with the majority of our current opportunities based within primary settings. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and caring individuals who are passionate about supporting children and helping them reach their full potential.

You don't necessarily need to be a qualified Teaching Assistant to apply. If you have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals, your experience could be highly transferable to a school environment. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in care work, support work, care assistant roles, youth work, residential care, childcare, nursery settings, sports coaching, mentoring, tutoring, behaviour support, SEN support, healthcare or community and family support.

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, have a Level 3 qualification, are a recent graduate, or have developed strong transferable skills through another role, we want to hear from you.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development throughout the school day

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support

• Supporting children with SEND and additional needs

• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive social skills

• Supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour

• Working alongside teachers to deliver engaging classroom activities

• Supporting children with their emotional and social development

• Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

• Building positive and professional relationships with pupils and school staff

• Supporting pupils to achieve their individual goals

• Must be based in Slough or willing to commute to Slough

• Available to work 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

• Passionate about working with children and young people

• Patient, caring and approachable

• Confident supporting children with different needs and abilities

• Able to build positive relationships with pupils

• Reliable, professional and committed

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable individuals

• Interested in developing a career within education

School experience is desirable but not essential.

Candidates with relevant experience from care, support work, youth work, childcare, residential settings, healthcare, sports coaching or similar environments are encouraged to apply.

A Level 3 qualification or relevant education qualification is advantageous, but this is not essential
. Candidates without formal qualifications who have relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
