Envision Education is currently recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for schools across Slough
, with opportunities available within both primary and secondary settings. We are looking for caring, patient and committed individuals who want to make a positive difference to the lives of pupils with additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Level 3-qualified candidates and individuals with relevant experience from care, support work, youth work, childcare or other support-based environments
.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access their education and develop both academically and personally.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEND

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development

• Assisting pupils with additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties

• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills

• Working alongside teachers and other professionals to support individual pupils

• Adapting activities and resources to meet individual needs

• Creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

• Supporting pupils with their individual targets and developmental needs

• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils

• Previous experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable individuals

• Experience working with SEND is desirable but not essential

• Candidates from care, support work, youth work, childcare, residential care or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply

• Must be based in Slough or willing to commute to Slough

• Available to work 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable, professional and committed

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• A Level 3 qualification or relevant SEND experience is advantageous but not essential

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
