Are you an experienced education professional with strong classroom and behaviour management skills?

Envision Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors for Primary schools across Slough. We are looking for confident, reliable and experienced individuals who can take responsibility for a classroom and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged in their learning.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors, Learning Mentors and other education professionals looking for their next role.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes and support pupils with their learning when their regular teacher is unavailable.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supervising classes and ensuring pupils remain focused

• Delivering pre-set lessons and activities

• Managing classroom behaviour confidently and effectively

• Supporting pupils with their learning and development

• Maintaining a calm, safe and positive classroom environment

• Supporting pupils with questions and learning tasks

• Following school policies and procedures

• Working closely with teachers and school staff

• Providing feedback on pupil behaviour and progress where required

• Strong experience working with children or young people

• Previous classroom or school-based experience is essential

• Strong behaviour management skills

• Confident managing groups of pupils independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Calm, patient and professional approach

• Reliable and committed

• Able to build positive relationships with pupils

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• Available for an immediate start

• Available Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Cover Supervisor, Learning Mentor or in another education-based role is highly desirable.
