Field Engineer

This is a permanent field engineering role dedicated at a major UK airport, with the remainder of time deployed on vehicle installation projects. The core of the role is cellular fault finding on PBE Axell systems within a live, high-security airside environment. This is a newly confirmed requirement with a start wanted ideally next month, and the client is looking to move quickly on the right profile.

We will consider both junior and senior engineers in the wireless communications space.

• A genuinely varied role - core airport-based fault finding combined with vehicle installation work, rather than a single repetitive site routine
• Strong earning potential on top of base salary through on-call allowance and weekday/Sunday overtime rates
• Company car provided, covering both site travel and daily commuting
• Long-term security with a permanent subcontract arrangement and an ongoing on-call rota once established
• Site familiarisation visits available before committing, so you can see the environment first-hand

• Cellular fault finding on PBE Axell systems (Distributed Antenna Systems)
• Documenting faults using client report templates and escalating internally to HAL contacts
• Vehicle installation work outside of the core airport commitment
• Participating in an on-call rota on a longer-term basis
• Working flexible hours between 7:00am and 5:30pm

• Proven cellular fault-finding experience
• Full UK driving licence
• 5 years of verifiable employment or education history (any gap over 28 days must be explainable) - required for airside pass clearance

• PBE Axell equipment experience
• 5G experience
• Vehicle installation experience
• RFID exposure
