Electrical Commissioning Lead

Europe (travel required for Ireland and mainland Europe sites)

As an Electrical Commissioning Lead, you will play a pivotal role in project delivery. You will be responsible for commissioning of all project systems, take ownership of the scope of commissioning delivery, and assist in leading the commissioning ethos on projects. You will work closely with the Commissioning Manager and a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts.

• Review documentation to ensure commissioning and startup requirements are accounted for.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of pre‑commissioning and commissioning execution plans.
• Prepare pre‑commissioning and commissioning procedures with specialist vendors and suppliers.
• Review performance test procedures and operating manuals with vendor teams.
• Execute pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and start‑up activities.
• Prepare commissioning progress reports for project management.
• Coordinate with vendor representatives.
• Supervise performance tests if required.
• Assist Project Manager in contacts with client representatives for handover.
• Manage electrical energisations and testing teams.
• Assist in preparation of final reports and certificates.
• Attend meetings with management and subcontractors as required.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Electrical trade background is advantageous.
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar commissioning role.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and quality software.
• Demonstrated appetite for continuous learning and personal development.
