Facilitate and perform testing and qualification activities in the Environmental Test Laboratory, ensuring equipment is maintained, operated safely, and the area is organized. Provide data to improve product quality and features, and ensure routine or qualification tests are systematic and meet required specifications.

• Testing:
  Test and qualify existing and new products to meet specifications and approvals; investigate test failures; report findings, suggest changes, and establish improvement measurements.
• Equipment:
  Own and manage all testing equipment, ensuring calibration, safety, and maintenance; propose and design new equipment and test fixtures.
• Procedures:
  Oversee test procedures, amend and improve them, and record results for future reference.
• Communication:
  Liaise with engineering, customers, and suppliers; give feedback to engineers, raise improvement ideas, and address issues.
• General:
  Assist audit teams for quality compliance, champion continuous improvement, maintain housekeeping standards, and undertake any additional tasks delegated by leadership.
• Health, Safety & Environment:
  Participate in safety initiatives, uphold H&S and environmental procedures, and maintain high personal standards.
• Quality Standards:
  Set high personal work standards, ensure engineering procedures are up to date and widely known.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, materials science, or a related technical field.
• Several years of hands‑on experience in aerospace testing or laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials, components, and industry standards (e.g., AS910).

• Expertise in designing and conducting mechanical, electrical, or environmental tests on aerospace components.
• Knowledge of operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation (tensile testers, fatigue machines, environmental chambers).
• Data analysis and technical report writing.
• Proficiency with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and statistical tools.

• Problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis capability.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities.
