A career at Equinix means being at the center of shaping what comes next and amplifying customer value through innovation and impact.

You’ll work across teams, influence key decisions, and help shape the path forward. You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.

We’re looking for a passionate and driven engineering professional to join our team, working at the heart of our critical infrastructure environments. You’ll lead smaller-scale projects and support the rollout of engineering initiatives, while also contributing to the development of engineering standards, policies, and best practices.

Collaboration is central to this role – you’ll work closely with design engineering, site engineering, construction, and operations teams, as well as external vendors and consultants, to deliver exceptional outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine hands‑on technical expertise with project leadership, helping to shape both day‑to‑day operations and the longer-term direction of our data centre environments.

  • Occasional travel to Manchester will be required
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
, with flexibility around start times to support work-life balance
  • Currently minimum 2 days in office to change with company guidance (office space available 5 days a week if preferred)

We’re particularly interested in candidates with strong critical infrastructure experience
, but we’re open to a wide range of backgrounds – including those from design consultancy environments who are keen to bring their expertise into a data centre setting.
