Senior Quantity Surveyor What You Will Do As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee quantity surveying and commercial management across projects from contract award to completion. Youll lead a team of Quantity Surveyors, taking responsibility for their commercial performance, and provide commercial and contractual advice to Sales and Projects teams. Youll coach and develop your team, including apprentices, ensuring successful financial outcomes while mitigating company risk.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial UK&I, youll support our growth strategy and take ownership of major projects in your region.

A key part of the role involves contract and account management for high-risk, high-profile projects, ensuring timely and profitable negotiations on variations and final accounts.
Youll manage change processes, identify claims, calculate value entitlements, and ensure contracts are administered correctly. Youll also provide ongoing commercial support to your team and act as an escalation point for clients. What We Look For Ideally 5-7 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor on non-framework agreements on projects ranging from £100k to £10m Proven track record within Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) environments ideally including any of this areas: HAVC&R, Security, Fire detection / suppression, BMS / Controls Strong understanding of commercial and financial risk Proven ability to lead large commercial projects Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders Excellent communication skills, including explaining technical details to non-technical audiences Strong problem-solving skills and independent decision-making RICS accredited or working towards accreditation
