Position Overview of Electrical Engineer:
Are you a proactive person who thrives in dynamic engineering environments? As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering key engineering projects, working closely with Senior Project Managers and Business Area Managers. You will act as the central point of communication between senior leadership, engineering teams, and on-site delivery personnel to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical works throughout the construction process, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the required standards.
Key Responsibilities for an Electrical Engineer:
* Supporting design, development and coordination electrical installations
* Review electrical drawings, designs, specifications and technical documentation
* Coordinate with projects managers, site teams, subcontractors and other disciplines
* Monitor electrical works to ensure compliance with design, programme and quality requirements
* Carry out inspections, testing and quality checks
* Identify and resolve technical issues
* Assist with planning, procurement and material requirements
* Ensure all works comply with relevant regulations, standard and H&S requirements
* Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors as required
* Maintain accurate project documentation and records
* Support commissioning, testing and handover of completed works
What We're Looking for in an Electrical Engineer:
* Previous experience working within the construction, automation or building services industry
* Experience with electrical design, M&E coordination and commissioning
* Strong knowledge of electrical installations and relevant standards
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
* Good Understanding of construction process and site coordination
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and part of a multidisciplinary team
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft office and relevant engineering/design software
* A strong commitment to Health, Safety and Quality
