The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a modern, highly automated FMCG manufacturing facility. Working as part of a strong engineering team, you will maintain and improve production and packaging equipment while supporting continuous improvement projects across site.
Key Responsibilities- Reactive breakdown maintenance
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
- PLC diagnostics and fault finding
- Support continuous improvement activities
- Assist with new equipment installations and upgrades
- Drive equipment reliability and minimise downtime
- Automated production lines
- Conveyors
- Slicers
- Bagging machines
- Wrapping equipment
- Labelling systems
- Checkweighers
- Metal detectors
- Three-phase motors and drives
- Pneumatic systems
- PLC controlled machinery
- NVQ Level 3, Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent
- Previous FMCG manufacturing experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Multi Skilled engineering background
- Experience working on automated production machinery
- Proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving
- £58,000 Basic Salary
- 4 On 4 Off Days & Nights Shift Pattern
