Finance Assistant

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector based in Slough. The role requires excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to support the accounting and finance department effectively.

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports
• Process invoices, payments, and monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for the finance department
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team

• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines
• A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is desirable

• Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum.
