Management Accountant

This Management Accountant role in the industrial and manufacturing industry will see you managing financial reporting and supporting business decisions with accurate financial insights. Based in Slough, you'll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the accounting and finance department.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyse financial performance and provide commentary on variances to budgets and forecasts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Maintain and improve financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed by management.

• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and standards
• Experience with budget preparation and forecasting
• Ability to develop and implement financial systems and processes
• Excellent communication skills to work across departments

• Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 per annum
