Picture yourself brightening someone's day. When you join our Hotels team, that's exactly what you'll do every time you come to work! You ensure and maintain a smooth day-to-day work routine within the Finance department, as well as the effective coordination and control of the month-end process. As an Assistant Financial Controller
, you're not just ensuring financial data accuracy and compliance – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Manage the Bank Reconciliation on a daily basis. Balancing PDQ, Bacs and Cash

• Manage the Aged Debtors process on a daily basis, supporting the preparation of Sales Ledger invoicing, managing all Hotels Ledgers relating to Sales. Dealing with all Ar accounts ensuring all invoices paid according to terms

• Support Income Audit Processes

• Support Accounts Payable, preparation of Purchase Orders, Invoice processing.

• Support & Supervise daily Finance operations.

• Ad-hoc finance duties set by Director of Finance

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Management, or related field; certified in Finance/Accounting

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Strong communication, analytical skills, and flexibility during the month/year-end
