Senior​/Principal Scientist - Biomarker & Translational Science

We are working in partnership with a global pharmaceutical organisation to recruit a Senior or Principal Research Scientist with strong Flow Cytometry expertise for a newly forming Translational Research team. This opportunity sits within the company’s Early Clinical Development & Translational Sciences function, working closely with an established Biomarker Assay Sciences group. The team supports the progression of innovative therapeutic assets – including gene therapies – from research through to early clinical development.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced scientist to play a key role in shaping a new translational capability, while gaining broad exposure across the drug discovery and development pipeline in a highly collaborative environment.

• Develop and deliver fit-for-purpose Flow Cytometry assays to support pre-clinical and clinical studies
• Plan, design, execute and interpret experiments, delivering high-quality, robust data
• Act as a Flow Cytometry subject matter expert, working with internal stakeholders and external CROs to share results and drive project completion
• Develop an understanding of the underlying biology and communicate this during multi-disciplinary project meetings
• Present and discuss data within multi-disciplinary project teams
• Manage workload to meet project and portfolio timelines
