Field Care Supervisor
Location:
SL1 (Slough & surrounding areas)
Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 per annum

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Field Care Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in the community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in the field, supporting carers, and ensuring services meet CQC Fundamental Standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Quality & Compliance
* Conduct initial assessments and risk assessments for new service users
* Complete care plan reviews (minimum every 6 months or sooner if required)
* Ensure care delivery meets CQC Fundamental Standards
* Monitor medication administration and complete MAR audits
* Carry out service user and staff file audits
* Support with CQC inspections and evidence gathering
Supervision & Monitoring
* Carry out regular spot checks on carers in the community
* Complete unannounced visits to ensure standards are maintained
* Ensure all care documentation is accurate and up to date
* Monitor daily notes and electronic care systems
Safeguarding & Incident Management
* Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and safeguarding concerns
* Ensure carers follow company policies including infection control, PPE, medication, safeguarding, and GDPR
Operational Support
* Act as the first point of contact for carers in the field
* Participate in the on-call rota
* Respond to emergencies, staff absence, and service issues
* Ensure continuity of care at all times
Communication & Relationships
* Liaise with families and professionals including GPs, Social Workers, and District Nurses
* Handle complaints professionally and escalate where required
* Maintain positive relationships with service users and their relatives
About You
* Previous experience in a supervisory or senior care role (domiciliary care preferred)
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice
* Confident working independently in the community
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
