Attention healthcare professionals! An exhilarating opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Service Delivery Lead to join our dynamic team in the healthcare sector located across Slough, High Wycombe, Wokingham, and Ascot. This role is ongoing and right from Monday to Friday, 07:50 – 18:10, you’ll be at the heart of it all. Enjoy leisurely Saturdays and get ready to bring in the action on Sundays from 10:50 – 15:55.

What you will do
  • Lead a team of Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) in delivering daily phlebotomy services.
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are adhered to and maintained diligently throughout each shift.
  • Oversee clinic operations, guaranteeing all staff are equipped with proper PPE and adhering to specified processes.
  • Manage stock levels efficiently, ensuring timely communication with Service Managers for restocking requirements.
  • Report incidents via inphase and act as the point of contact for operational and clinical issues.
  • Confidently perform venepuncture to handle any unsuccessful blood drawing attempts.
  • Maintain a clinically acceptable standard within the unit.
  • Conduct daily audits to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
  • Showcase strong leadership abilities to effectively coordinate and inspire your team.
Requirements
  • Band 6 or above qualification with current venepuncture, cannulation, and blood-drawing competencies (certificates required).
  • Aged over 25, with a clean manual driving license and readiness to participate in induction and drive the mobile unit.
