We are currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Manager to join a fantastic team in the heart of the Marlow community. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven, commercially minded Pharmacist who enjoys providing outstanding patient care while playing an active role in developing and growing the pharmacy.
The pharmacy currently dispenses approximately 7,000-9,000 items per month, with plenty of scope for the successful candidate to introduce and develop additional services to increase prescription volume and generate additional bonuses.
The RoleAs Pharmacy Manager, you will take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the pharmacy, ensuring high standards of patient care, compliance and service delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing and supporting the pharmacy team, including recruitment, training and staff rotas
- Overseeing the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions for collection and delivery
- Ensuring safe and compliant handling of medicines and controlled drugs
- Managing stock levels, ordering pharmacy supplies and monitoring inventory
- Checking prescriptions and liaising with prescribers where required
- Providing professional advice to patients regarding medicines, dosage and potential side effects
- Monitoring stock expiry dates and maintaining appropriate controlled drug records
- Ensuring the pharmacy consistently meets regulatory and best-practice standards
- Maintaining high standards of presentation across the pharmacy
- Responding to patient queries and resolving complaints professionally
- Delivering and developing NHS pharmacy services
- Identifying opportunities to introduce new services and increase prescription volume
- Supporting the commercial development and continued growth of the pharmacy
- £60,000 basic salary
- 45 hours per week

We are looking for a GPhC-registered Pharmacist who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and has a strong understanding of community pharmacy operations.
You will ideally have:
- GPhC registration and eligibility to work as a Pharmacist in the UK
- Previous Pharmacy Manager experience, although strong Pharmacists looking to step into management will be considered
- Experience delivering a broad range of community pharmacy services
- A strong understanding of pharmacy compliance and best practice
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
- Confidence managing and supporting a pharmacy team
- An interest in developing services and increasing the pharmacy's clinical offering, including CPCS
