Clinical Homecare Nurse

As more and more patients are treated outside a traditional hospital setting, the role of the home care Nurse is developing. We work in a variety of environments such as clinics to residential accommodation and patients' own homes. We are able to treat individuals at school or even in a work environment. Our nurses help the NHS meet the needs of elderly, disabled or vulnerable patients who may not be able to easily visit the hospital.

We are able to help support our patients to become more independent in the management of their treatment and to make the whole treatment journey more convenient. You will need to be kind, compassionate and caring with a desire to provide excellent patient experience and safe and effective care. Duties

• Perform patient observations and ensure that any patient is fit to proceed with their treatment
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team
• Provide compassionate support to the patient and family
• Educate patients and their families to promote understanding and independence.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams ensuring that patient safety is paramount.
• Current NMC registration
• Experience of administering S/C, IM or IV medications
• SACT experience
• Valid UK driving license
• Willingness to work autonomously
• Attention to detail, Substantial post registration experience in a clinical setting.

• Annual Salary £35,000 to £38,000 (depending on experience), £35,000 to £38,000 (depending on experience)
