We are now seeking a CIPD qualified, experienced HR practitioner to join our HR team. You will be a key member of the People Partnering team, reporting to the people business partner for your service area and working closely with the wider team and senior stakeholders in this service.

Your base will be Upton Hospital in Slough, but the role expects you to travel to any site within the trust when required. The rest of your role will be worked from home.
Main duties- Provide professional HR advice on the full range of employee relations issues.
- Build and maintain credible relationships with teams, managers and senior stakeholders, ensuring complex or sensitive information is communicated confidently.
- Act as a point of contact for managers and staff seeking advice on employment policies, analysing queries to offer solutions.
- Advise managers on recruitment processes, including the writing of job descriptions and person specifications.
- Support workforce planning, change management and transformation, engagement and the building of leadership capability.
- Work closely with teams and senior stakeholders to support the delivery of their people priorities.

- Degree or equivalent experience.
- CIPD level 5 qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a generalist HR role with Employee Relations in a multi‑skilled, professional and unionised environment.
- Ability to travel to multiple sites with minimal impact on daily productivity.
- Extensive experience in providing HR advice to managers.
- Experience of devising and delivering training packages on employment‑related courses to line managers.
- Extensive experience working in a complex unionised environment and demonstrable experience of developing effective relations and partnership working across a diverse range of unions and professional associations.
- Experience of managing workforce projects (e.g., sickness absence projects) to ensure workforce plans can be met.
