AIT Worldwide Logistics is looking for a Network Engineer with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, capable of working independently, who has proven experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting wired and wireless network solutions. The Network Engineer, based at AIT’s London Station, will provide a supporting role in AIT’s Infrastructure Team.

• Design and deploy data networks utilizing industry best practices (wired and wireless).
• Execute projects within expected time frames; work independently.
• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and manage Cisco switches (Catalyst and Meraki), and firewalls (Palo Alto and CradlePoint).
• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and manage wireless networks (Meraki and Extreme Networks).
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN and application issues.
• Participate in on‑call rotation.
• Occasional travel may be required.

• Bachelor’s degree related to IT or comparable field experience.
• 2‑3 years experience designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure.
• 2‑3 years experience with Cisco routing and switching protocols.
• 2‑3 years firewall administration experience (Palo Alto preferred).
• 2‑3 years working with application, transport and network infrastructure protocols (SSH, DNS, DHCP, TFTP, NTP, ARP, TCP, UDP, IPv4, BGP, OSPF, IPSec).
• Ability to troubleshoot AWS Cloud
  
  WAN routing.
• Solid understanding of the OSI model.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
• Rapid learning of new or unfamiliar technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
