Pricing Analyst

Salary £35,000–£40,000

London (Hybrid). Once a week in-office.

Harnham are working with a specialist insurance provider that is expanding its pricing and analytics capability. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Pricing Analyst to gain broad exposure across pricing, underwriting, fraud analytics and wider commercial decision-making within a high-performing team.

THE ROLE

This is a broad analytics role sitting within a pricing function, offering exposure to a wide variety of business challenges. You'll work closely with underwriting, analytics and senior leadership teams to help improve pricing performance and support business growth.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in:

  • Developing and enhancing pricing models across a range of insurance products.
  • Analysing portfolio performance and producing insight-driven recommendations.
  • Supporting risk modelling, fraud analytics and underwriting initiatives.
  • Working with data pipelines, reporting processes and pricing systems.
  • Contributing to automation and AI-driven projects across the business.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 1-2 years' experience within personal lines pricing, ideally within insurance.
  • Experience working with pricing models, rating engines, analytics or portfolio performance analysis.
  • Strong Python skills for data manipulation, modelling and analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Degree in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or a related discipline.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
