Our client, a well-established international logistics and freight forwarding organisation, is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Coordinator to join their Key Accounts team based s is an excellent opportunity for a customs or trade compliance professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the movement of goods across international borders while ensuring customs compliance.
- Classify products using the correct tariff and commodity codes.
- Provide guidance on UK import requirements for goods arriving from the EU.
- Support the Head of Trade Compliance and wider operational teams.
- Audit customs entries to ensure compliance with UK import and export legislation.
- Prepare customs documentation and declarations for import and export shipments.
- Liaise with HMRC regarding customs procedures and compliance matters.
- Maintain CITES records, including uploading import and re-export certificates.
- Produce KPI reports and management information within agreed deadlines.
