Network Service Technician – Thames Water
Join Thames Water as a Network Service Technician, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and resolving issues within our clean water network, ensuring minimal disruption to customer supply across the Thames Valley area.
What will you be doing?- Operate and isolate water mains for planned or emergency works.
- Own and resolve customer queries and complaints.
- Support project work and leakage detection activities.
- Investigate and resolve network performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and water quality standards.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Strong customer service experience in a dynamic environment.
- Plumbing, water mains, or leakage experience (advantageous).
- IT literacy and good time management.
- Positive attitude and a can‑do approach.
- Starting salary from £29,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
- Annual Leave – 24 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 with length of service (plus bank holidays).
- Performance‑related pay plan linked to company performance measures and targets.
- Generous Pension Scheme through AON.
- Generous Paternity Leave – 4 weeks paid and optional 2 weeks unpaid.
- Enhanced Maternity Leave – 26 weeks full pay and 13 weeks half pay.

Working Pattern38 hours/week + rota (1 in 8 late shifts & standby).
RequirementsClean UK driving licence and happy to drive between jobs.
